OUR COVER STAR THIS TIME IS NEWCOMER BRODY VINNICOMBE!!!!
The Camborne and Redruth MC held the fourth round of the Cornwall OSET Cup at Colwith Farm, Par on Saturday 29th October. There was a training session in the morning with the trial starting at 1.0pm.
JOSH DUSTOW
28 riders tackled three laps of 8 sections and although it stayed dry for the day conditions were very wet and muddy with most sections on either side of the steep wooded valley. We again welcomed another newcomer, 4-year-old Brody Vinnicombe who didn't seem to be put off by the challenging and muddy sections. 7-year-old Josh Dustow was outstanding on the Hard Course and rode really well to post just 16 marks and well clear of his rivals. Josh should be familiar with this terrain as his family own Colwith Farm and the woods, but it was still a great result. William Bloomfield and Jack Kilby stepped up to the Hard Course and did well to come 2nd and 3rd. On the Medium Course the 7-year group was headed by Kyle Bateman losing just 14 marks with Riley Wales and Charlie Riddell battling for 2nd place where Riley finally finished on 24 to Charlie's 28. On the Easy Course the 6-year group saw Jenson Daw taking the win on 27 marks and in the 4-year group Bowie Sinkinson again romped home the clear winner on 44 marks with newcomer Brody Vinnicombe tying in second place with Olivia McCoan. There were 11of our regular riders absent enjoying holidays during the half-term and dates for the 2023 Cornwall OSET Cup have now been arranged so as not to coincide with school holidays.
